Ain’t It Cool News Reviews G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

reviews-coffee So earlier today, Harry Knowles of Ain’t It Cool News, was able to see an advanced screening and mentioned via Twitter that he thought G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra was great. “Now – this opening sequence, it is actually kind of intensely scary, but in a VERY COOL WAY! Essentially, the pre-Cobra flying ship comes swooping in, using some energy weapon to completely wipe out the Apaches – and laying scorched Earth pimp slapping of the Humvees. This ship swats the missiles fired at it out of the skies. This one segment of the film, tonally, is just so much fun. Because when you’re the best trained American Soldier… getting your ass handed to you by an enemy that makes your weapon systems seem like Bow & Arrows… that’s a new situation.”

I think H.Knowles has been smoking something BAD, G.I.JOE is horrible … Summers has basically WRECKED this MOVIE …I cant believe Joe fans aren't as MAD and die hard as Harry Potter fans !!! I read this script and it sucked…and it still does …The trailer is all flashy special effects …THAT'S IT! this story is Bad , characters are BAD…Who let this IDIOT make this film and ruin IT ?!… I was expecting a HIGHER caliber film…not THIS CRAP …KEEP him away from G.I.JOE and let him direct his CRAP Mummy flicks! This Franchise has the depth and potential to be a Batman Begins franchise…NOT a lame SPEED RACER romp.
