G.I. Joe: The Pursuit of Cobra “Desert Battle” Zartan In-Hand Pictorial
I received the rest of my Pursuit of Cobra figures I acquired from eBay seller ws_toys. Another of a few figures of Wave 1 for 2010 he has for sale, I was again excited at the opportunity to check out “Desert Battle” Zartan early. I’m glad I did too, this is another very cool looking figure. This is THE Zartan we were waiting for in the RoC “movie line” and we are now getting it.

I love that Hasbro is getting Zartan closer to the original version, but he's still not perfect. And what's with the poor quality of so much of the ROC line…especially the troop builder multi-packs…like the one with the female Dial Tone..obviously just thrown together. Ugly.
I still hold out hope for more G.I. Joe: Resolute. Hasbro can easily morph Resolute into ROC characters, with the same quality…and not every Joe has to wear camo! In fact, if Hasbro were smart they'd have ROC Zartan's skin color change to blue as did the original when in sunlight. The nanomites in his body can malfunction making that happen, exposing him as the fake U.S. President.
Any way…this Zartan is an improvement.
