Possible Rise of Cobra Academy Award Nomination?

roc-movie-logoComingSoon.net has posted a list of the 15 semifinalists in the “visual effects” category, for the 82nd annual Academy Awards. Some of the films selected are Transformers 2, Star Trek, 2012, and G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra. Come January 2010, the list will be trimmed down to 7 nominees, with the official nominations being revealed January 21st. The 82nd annual Academy Awards will broadcast Sunday, March 7, 2010. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for the Joes!
