Big Boss by Cloud Strife, Custom of the Week Honoree!

This weeks first Custom of the Week Honoree is Big Boss by Cloud Strife. This is an original character and it really is stellar. The camo paint aps really are stand out! Check out what Cloud Strife had to say about it

This was a commissioned custom for a buddy. He gave me the custom fodder and the specs, and I went to work. I do have to say thanks to solid.wii for getting me to do this commission. I enjoyed it and he is a great customer (to anyone else that might get a commission request from him). In all honesty, I didn’t know much about MGS before this commission and now I want to do some customs from this awesome series for my own collection. lol

I took these pics before adding another unrequested detail (a strap for the knife on his lower right leg). I think he’ll be happy with the extra detail and I couldn’t help but do it. lol. So, no pics with that detail. I also had to do some modifying to CS SE lower arms, as the peg wasn’t big enough for a tight fit (That’s what she said!) in the Mutt upper arms. So, I cut the pegs off of Mutt’s lower arms, dremeled into them enough to slide CS SE lower arm pegs into them and glue them. Now the arms are nice and tight and don’t flop around whenever you move the figure around.
