Over at Comic Book Resources (CBR) today, they have posted an interview with Infestation2: G.I. Joe writer Mike Raicht. Some Joe fans might remember Raicht‘s name from IDW‘s first go at their multi-property cross-over with Infestation. This go around, we find Cobra right at home in their element, digging up evil to help them in their conquest to rule the world. With some H.P. Lovecraft’esque stories, Cobra unleashes some true horror and the Joes are once again dragged into it. Head on over to CBR and check out the interview with writer Mike Raicht and also check out a few preview pages from the upcoming story. Infestation2 started at the end of January, and the G.I. Joe tie-ins arrive in March 2012, so if you are interested, you can still get in on the story early.
Raicht, who also wrote the “G.I. Joe” portion of IDW’s first “Infestation” event, knows these characters well and enjoys them deeply. “I’m just having a blast working on a property I’ve enjoyed since I was a kid — I love working in the ‘G.I. Joe’ world, especially on the Cobra side, because the characters are so much fun to write,” Raicht said.
