Hasbro Issues a Press Release In Regards to SDCC Sgt. Slaughter Exclusives Selling Out

Hasbro has issued a press release in regards to the 2010 SDCC Exclusive Sgt. Slaughter figures. The press release addresses the fact that most fans that were waiting to get these exclusive figures on HasbroToyShop.com the Monday following Comic-Con were let down due to the fact there was a very limited quantities of both and both sold out extremely fast (so fast, most fans never saw them available). So now Hasbro is looking into re-releasing Sarge again in the Spring of 2011, though most likely will NOT be a single card release, but in some kind of multi-pack. So stay tuned as we will be reporting any additional information as it becomes available.

The passion displayed since Comic-Con on fan-forums regarding the special edition Sgt. Slaughter figures has been truly remarkable. It proves that there is a huge appetite to see this character in action figure form and we’re thrilled that the designs were so well received. We know the Sarge himself, who you may have had the chance to meet in the Hasbro booth at Comic-Con, would be honored to see such an outpouring of support and desire for this special edition figure in his likeness.
