Recently added to the Scoop’s Dark Room Files are the latest in Toys R Us Rise of Cobra Exclusives. We’ve added the latest single carded wave with “Arctic Threat” Carl “Doc” Greer and “Arctic Threat” Shipwreck. These are Wave 3 (or Wave 1 2010) of the TRU single carded figures. Also added is the TRU Exclusive Sting Raider (aka Water Moccasin) with Copperhead & Swamp-Viper. So head on over to Scoop’s Dark Room and check out these latest additions.

HissTank member Rulz posted some images of the forthcoming Toys R Us Exclusives of The Pursuit of Cobra: Arctic Threat Doc and Arctic Threat Shipwreck figures. A Filipino Joe Collector, Rulz has acquired these figures in the Philippines (along with a Mail-Away PoC Cobra Commander), which is a sign that these items are still coming and a good chance very soon!

eBay seller e_only has posted a few auctions featuring an Arctic Threat Duke (jacket included this time), Arctic Threat Destro (plus Alley Viper helmet?), and the Wolf Hound (SnowCat) driver Whiteout. All 3 figures are to be released in the first wave of Pursuit of Cobra items, though no release date has been confirmed at this time.

I received the rest of my Pursuit of Cobra figures I acquired from eBay seller ws_toys. Another of a few figures of Wave 1 for 2010 he has for sale, I was again excited at the opportunity to check out “Desert Battle” Zartan early. I’m glad I did too, this is another very cool looking figure. This is THE Zartan we were waiting for in the RoC “movie line” and we are now getting it.

Terror Drome member Outbackk has gotten his hands on the Pursuit of Cobra “Arctic Threat” Snow Job and has shared with us some pictures he took and a mini-review with his thoughts on this upcoming figure. Part of Wave 1 2010 of the Pursuit of Cobra theme, “Arctic Threat” Snow Job looks to be one amazing looking figure. There are details aplenty with this figure showing that Hasbro has really stepped it up with this forthcoming line of G.I. Joe.

“Of course the real prize is the accessories he comes with…I mean a frying pan for Pete’s sake! Hasbro seemed to have pulled out all the stops with this line.”

I received the Pursuit of Cobra “Desert Battle” Ripcord that I acquired from eBay seller ws_toys. One of a few, of the first wave of figures for 2010 that he has for sale. I was quite excited to see he had this figure and I decided to jump at the chance to check it out early. I’m glad I did too, this is one very cool Joe. The detail is great, the level of quality has been raised for sure. Now this is most likely an early production piece that has some minor flaws (paint smudge, some parts not glued down), so keep that in mind when checking out the images.

Thanks to alien133 of ACToys.net, we get another look at the upcoming Pursuit of Cobra “Desert Battle” Zartan figure. Part of Wave 1 2010 of the Pursuit of Cobra theme for 2010, “Desert Battle” Zartan comes with a bevy of accessories, including one that allows him to be in disguise as a new Joe named Sandstorm. This Zartan is meant to be more like his original appearance in the ARAH line of G.I. Joe with the face “paint” and hood. Check out some of the great hi-res images below.
