TaoBao seller ilovesw has posted quite a few prototype figures for the forthcoming Pursuit of Cobra line-up. Along with posting a prototype of the 2011 Storm Shadow figure, the really interesting part is, there is a prototype of figure we have yet to see or hear about. It is what looks like “Training” Snake Eyes and if you remember at last year’s JoeCon, they debuted a “Training” Duke figure which the Snake Eyes looks to take parts from. The Storm Shadow is part of the Spring 2011 line-up and it is unknown if the Snake Eyes is a cancelled figure or a figure coming in 2011 too for Pursuit of Cobra line.

TaoBao seller ilovesw has listed a few new auctions featuring 12″ Sgt. Stalker and Gung-Ho figures. As of yet if it remains unknown if these figures will see a release, or if they were cancelled along with the 25th Anniversary line.

Thanks to TaoBao seller ilovesw, who has posted an auction, showing the Sgt. Stone repaint, Grunt, Speed Metal, Destro repaint, Neo-Viper repaint and Elite Viper in their packaging. Previously thought to be TRU Exclusive 3-Packs, we know see on the front of the packaging it says “Senior Ranking Officers“, which have previously been TRU Exclusives. Is this confirmation that this is in fact a correct assumption then? We like to think so, but we’ll wait for “official” confirmation.

He has also posted auctions showing the Rise of Cobra Crimson Hydra (SpyTroops/VvV Sky Sweeper Jet repaint) with Aero-Viper box front and images of the front & interior packaging of the forthcoming 2009 SDCC Exclusive Destro figures.

TaoBao seller macca428 has an auction right now for what was believed to be an updated Dragonfly helicopter. Recently is was discovered in a Kmart.com listing that there was a place holder for a “Dragonhawk with Wild Bill“. Unsure of the accuracy then, we now know from the packaging the confirmation that this vehicle is called a, Dragonhawk XH1 which comes with a Wild Bill figure.

TaoBoa seller myomi has posted an auction featuring a carded version of the mysterious Arctic Assual Storm Shadow figure from the Rise of Cobra line. This figure has been making more of an appearance on auction sites lately, but it still remained a mystery as to what this figure “officially” was. Though we now have conformation on the identity of the figure, we still have no official information on when to expect this figure on the pegs.

TaoBao seller ttfans has an auction for an upcoming Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes figure from the Rise of Cobra line. Nothing new there, but…if you check out the Timber that comes with it, you will notice that it is gray compared to the black we have previously seen. So is this a variant? Or is it just a swap out from the latest G.I. Joe 5-Pack?

TaoBao seller xingzhangijoe has also added to the mystery files with new Duke and Scarlett figures he has up for auction. The Duke looks to be Utilizing the same body as the ROC Breaker figure, and the Scarlett appears to be a repaint of the 25th Anniversary figure with new legs supposedly this is Arctic Scarlett.
