Possible 2010 Pursuit of Cobra Vehicle Packaging Sample on eBay

An interesting eBay auction has appeared today, eBay seller delicateangel01 has posted an auction for a Rise of Cobra Cobra Mantis Attack Sub with Aqua-Viper Officer. So why is this interesting you ask? Well it appears to be in what is likely 2010 Pursuit of Cobra pre-production sample packaging is why. Now this does not mean this is a final rendition of what is to come, just a possibility at this point. We may find out more at next weekend’s Toy Fair press event.

Is There A New G.I. Joe Team Logo Coming in 2010?

It appears that with the recent discovery of the 2010 G.I. Joe Mechs, we appear to be getting a new G.I. Joe team logo. Now, I don’t mean the eagle/hawk emblem we’ve seen on The Rise of Cobra line, but something altogether new. This one can be found on the G.I. Joe mech “pilot’s” vest and also after seeing that I put two and two together and realized that the G.I. Joe Collectors’ Club has the new “team logo” as part of their 2010 JoeCon logo. So is this logo change in response to the lukewarm reception from Joe fans or something different entirely? (I thought the eagle/hawk emblem worked quite well IMO.) It certainly has caught the attention of quite a few Joe fans. Hopefully we will find out more about this at next month’s Toy Fair expo.

Possible New G.I. Joe Card Art Found On 4Chan?

rumor-mystery Thanks to an “Anonymous” poster on 4Chan we have an image of what might be the card art for Joes to come. As most of us know, The Pursuit of Cobra line has been pushed back by Hasbro with no confirmed release date. Both the vehicle and figure lines were delayed for unknown reasons, but with the recent surfacing of a few POC figures and vehicles on eBay. And now this image on 4Chan, we are given a nice glimpse of hope that these guys might hit the shelves sooner than later, and with a refreshing new look. As for right now, this card art image is not “confirmed” by Hasbro, and should just be regarded as total speculation. It is pretty cool looking though isnt it?

Arctic Scarlett? Action Force Quarrel? or New Con Exclusive?

Blood For The Baron has received an exclusive “first look” at a new Scarlett figure thanks to our friend cmderinchief. It was rumored that this figure would be released in a comic pack 2-pack with an Arctic Cobra Commander in some sort of arctic outfit, but nothing official has been released regarding that. Another theory floating around is the possibility of a convention release as an Action Force Quarrel homage like the 1992 Joe Con Undercover Scarlett. As of right now this is all just speculation, and the identity of this figure still remains a mystery.

Upcoming Scarlett Repaint Pays Homage to Action Force Quarrel

rumor-mystery We have received from a friend of ours, another image. This one is a repaint of Scarlett as a tribute to International Action Force figure Quarrel. No confirmation to this yet, but this version of Scarlett could be from the upcoming Wave 9 Comic 2-Pack, Scarlett vs. Cobra Commander.
