The thing that bugs me is that we know they have the molds.

I like your thinking, but kind of a bad idea. Putting some very sought after figures/designs in an exclusive. Especially a store that is now known to not carry everything, including their OWN store exclusives. If this was a mass release, I'd fully agree with you guys.

I did kind of forget this was an exclusive. Then they would have totally pulled of the stage bit too, it would be just like SS's final fight in resolute.

I did get the Surveillance Outpost.
For some reason my closer Walmarts do not have any of these at all. I bet the regional manager has kept these in the back for Black Friday. I think that is a pretty stupid thing to do.

To us it is. to them its genius. At target the managers used to hoard all the hot toys till black friday and then put them out a few at a time every week till christmas to get people to come back repeatedly by saying we would be getting more. The hope was that they would buy other stuff since they were in the store anyway.

Tthe Target RoC rescue set for $20 is a better deal.

Yeah. Walmart. Sorry. lol The Target ROC Rescue set is definitely a sweet set.

Ehh, the Target rescue set is just a bunch of repaints/kitbashes. The only highlight of that set is Snake Eyes figure i guess.

This walmart set is just more repaints with a dojo thingy from the VvsV line. It does come with a nice compliment of weapons though, but its still nothing special.

I would say out of everything released now, the WM mini sets are the best. $15 for 2 figures and a sweet ass old school playset. Though the figures are repaints, you do get that nifty Resolute Roadblock and the online exclusive MARS Trooper to make up for it.

Second place is a tie, with the TRU Pit Attack set and the Target Vehicle packs.

TRU gives you 5 figures and a vehicle for $20, thats a nice little set right there.

Target sets lack on the figure side, but you get a reasonable price tag, and some classic vehicle molds to make up for it. Who wouldnt want an ARMY of SNAKE Armors?

Saw about 30 of these at walmart tonight. Not one ouf the outpost exclusives though. suprise suprise.

Honestly, I liked the dojo and see a lot of display value in it. I also picked up the surveillance port. Of course, to be perfectly candid, the pricing on this stuff doesn't really affect me as much as others. (shrug) I mean, $20 for two figs, a bunch of weapons and a cool base? More than fair, I thought.
