How many of your ARAH joes are mic-less

It seems like one of the most difficult thing to scratch up as far as accessories in the ARAH line are the mic's of certain characters, as well as the breathing straws for some cobras from 1987 like cobra commander, croc master and Big boa.

What has your experience been in finding figures with their mic's included or finding them to purchase seperately?

Lets see, CC is missing his hose, Heavy Metal and Lift Ticket. Some things just end up missing lost to the ages of time. Hard Top still has his mic but he never came with a gun or I didn't see it when I opened it up.

I found with time, patience and a little luck the opportunities to find and obtain these things become inevitable. You do have to keep your eyes open, get well into the Joe community and multiple sources helps as well. Besides the BATTLE FORCE 2000 figures and the Night Force figures I havent decided to chase down yet, I think I have every ARAH figure between 82 and 92 that came with a mic, antenna or odd hose complete with those small parts. It took me 6 years to get to this point, I only recently got COLD FRONT, the driver for the AVALANCHE. I got my LIFTTICKET with mic from the same hobby shop as the COLD FRONT. My HEAVY METAL came from a collection I bought a few years ago. I do have an extra HM without a mic though. I got a couple of WORMs with antennas from ebay last year. In 2007 I wanted to buy myself a graduation gift and my buddy happened to be selling his collection off including his DEFIANT. So I picked it up and thats how I got my complete HARDTOP. It just takes time.

ive found CC hose one time on the bay and scooped it up. but finding them things is kinda hard to do, so i just make a mic or hose out that black or clear wire, that holds in most figs or vehicles. them things fit perfect you just have to cut and bend the wire.

Big Boa and Scoop are M their mics....it seems its cheaper to buy another set than the part. Then again, I would still have two figures w/o mics

Hmmm....let's see.

My 1987 Cobra Commander has his breathing tube and my 1986 Dial-Tone has his mic!

Besides that, I think I'm missing just about everything. My Croc-Master still needs his breathing tube and my Lift-Ticket is missing his mic and I have a Heavy Metal on the way that I bought in a lot but I'm not sure yet if he has his mic or not (likely not).

I'm still hoping to get Cold-Front again. I loved the Avalanche back when I got it in 1990, but since then I lost it and Cold-Front (who still had his mic when it happened).

Along those same lines, I'm glad to have Thunder's binoculars and most the visors for the 1982 figs. In the visor category, I still need to get a hold of a black visor for my childhood Starduster.

BTW....a little off-topic, but I have to mention it. I haven't been here at the Drome in a long time, but what made me want to post more than anything is your sig pics, Chuckles. I love 1985, I love Stryper, and I love the H.A.V.O.C. (the first Joe vehicle I ever received...it was a Christmas present I'd been begging for after years of being a Joe fan watching the cartoons but coming from a semi-poor family who couldn't afford all the new toys). So yes, this topic is great but more than anything I have to give respect to your sig pics. They could just as easily be my sig pics because they represent my life.
