HI! Welcome to the "TOURNAMENT OF JOES V6. (Battle of the Sexes). The Terror Drome will be holding this tournament to take a field of 32 G.I. Joe and COBRA characters as selected by random draw, and face them off against each other until we reach the final round and determine the "FINAL FOUR GREATEST JOE CHARACTERS".

WE WILL VOTE ON "ONE" MATCHUP PER DAY!
The bracket board will be updated after we have determined the first sixteen winners.

These are the parameters you should use when voting for your winner in each matchup.

1. These match-ups were randomly selected so to not give any "TAG TEAM" characters an unfair advantage.

2. Specific versions of a character in figure form should not be taken into account, we are looking for the "character attributes" not the "figure attributes.

3. Coolness factor does NOT! come into play, nor should whether or not a character is your favorite.

4. You should vote a character to win based on "physical strength" "tactical ability" the actual weapons, and how successfull they will be in the assigned environment. Taking these into account could he defeat the character he is facing off against.

5. You will be given ONE vote per day, with your vote please explain why you think the character you voted for defeated his face off partner

6. You will vote by posting your winner beneath the post i make with the daily matchup.

7. the " FIELD ENVIRONMENT" will change after each round, and will not be determined by any combination of players that advance, it will be totally random.

Though Cobra Commander has the Springfield "Home Field Advantage", I think Firefly is teh better sneak and could take better advantage of teh surroundings.

I believe he would simply hide out inuntil Cobra Commander happened past, then blow him up.

Though I do not believe Firefly to be the great combatant that many seem to think he is....I hav eto give this fight to him.

If we assume that this particular Springfield is a Cobra front, CC might be able to take Firefly by rallying the town to do his dirty work.

BUT... Springfield isn't mentioned on the file card, now is it? Nope, not a bit. It just tells us that he's an evil-terrorist boogeyman.

Firefly's card goes much the same route, but at least gives us a good idea of how he functions and the skills at his disposal.

I have to give this to Firefly. While I don't think he's unbeatable, Cobra Commander certainly shows no ability to take the guy out.
