I wish I could say I was shocked with how many of the questions are in this vein:
Q: "WHY DID YOU NOT DO THIS FIGURE RIGHT YOU SUCK WHEN WILL YOU GET IT RIGHT AND NOT SUCK PLS."
A: "This isn't 1986; we'll try to get close when we can, but you guys need to deal sometimes."
Follow-Up Comment: "OMG THIS THING IS A JOKE HASBRO NEVER GIVES GOOD ANSWERS THEY SUCK."
Sadly, I'm not even going too far off the actual text of a few of them. I'm not going to pretend that Hasbro is giving awesome answers all the time (or even awesome figures all the time), but giving them 'tude about not fulfilling your every desire for 100% accurate-to-the-80s-except-not-80s Joes and demanding asking that they make it up to you... There's nothing in that worth answering in the first place, and a stock PR answer is FAR better than it deserves.
I could swear there used to be a difference between being a fan, and believing that Hasbro should kiss your ass all the time.
(As a preventative measure, I'd like to say that the previous rant wasn't directed toward the Q&A from here, or even the general attitude here at the 'Drome. We all have out sense-of-entitlement fandom moments--myself included-- but I've seen less of it here than any other Joe board I've been to, and it's not for a lack of checking them out.)
