I didn't see this when it originally aired on HBO (didn't have HBO, but do now due to a fluke in Comcast's system

), so I was not aware of it. Well today after I took my dad to his physical therapay (knee replacement surgery), we returned to my parent's house and I had lunch with him and we watched this movie,
Taking Chance. All I can say is what a heartache of a film, yet at the same time uplifting (the human spirit is a strong one). Regardless of your stance on the war, this movie is worth watching. It is short, only a hour and 10 or so minutes long, but it will move you. You can learn more about PFC Chance Phelps and view a trailer here —

online here. It is Stobl's report that this movie is based on.
