The Box
The box is a nice "window view" set-up, with everything pre-assembled inside. On one side of the box we get some nice art of the play-set in action, the bottom has the file cards, and the remaining sides show the item itself as well as the other playsets in this wave. The unfortunate thing about this set is the file cards are "cut-outs" rather then being included separately. Inside the box we get a nice diorama display that folds out to a pretty descent size. The weapons and accessories are taped to the underside of the box.

The Heetseek Missile System
This set is a re-mold of the 1986 Sears Exclusive Sentry Missile System, which was a re-paint of the 1982 MMS. The original "Hasbro 1982" logo remains on the bottom of this set. In addition to the sticker sheet and blue prints, you get G.I. Joe and Cobra stickers, an Arashikage tattoo, and diorama assembly instructions.

Scrap-Iron

Scrap-Iron is an anti-armor specialist and one of the chief designers for the Military Armament Research Syndicate. An unforgiving perfectionist, he specializes in piezoelectric fused anti-tank munitions, smart missile systems, and large scale super weapons.

M.A.R.S. Industries D57-A extreme environment tactical rifle.

Scrap-Iron
Scrap-Iron is a repaint of the 25th Anniversary V6 figure, which is comprised of both Cobra Viper, and Cobra Trooper parts. He is armed with a MARS rifle and pistol, and has removable goggles. Like most "pack in" figures, Scrap-Iron does not come with his knife, but he does have a stand.

Neo-Viper
This Neo-Viper is the same as the single carded one we saw early in the RoC line. It includes the same stand, weapons, and accessories.

This set retails for around $15 depending on your location. The value of this set is through the roof, and is highly recommended to any fans of old or new.

2 things I do not need: another Scrap Iron and another Viper.

1 thing I really do need: an MMS.

So, it looks like i get my MMS, I just have tio paint it...and a pile of extra parts. I bet I could bash those two together with some paint and com eup with an RoC Televiper.

cool set to go along with the hiss tanks! Not sure about the scrap iron. the colors arent bad at all. better than the orignals bright red and blue.

I was thinking the same thing, I had to do a double take on that one. The grammar on the file cars is all jacked up as well, it looks like a 5 year old came up with some of that stuff.

I assumed that "Heetseek" was purposely misspelled as a not-so-clever name for the system, otherwise it likely would have been "Heat-Seeker". We've had on-purpose misspellings before, but all of the ones that come to mind are acronyms. Maybe that's why it's so jarring: if it were "H.E.E.T.Seek", it really wouldn't stand out at all.

Plus, it was likely much easier to trademark...

I understand it was probably a trademark "issue", but HEETSeek looks stupid and that Hasbro does dumb spelling sometimes. Like you said, it should have been an acronym if they wanted to use that spelling. I just think that HEET looks stupid and looks like they spelled it wrong and didn't bother to fix it.

I have been waiting for this set. I am not a fan of neovipers but scrap metal works for me and the MMS will be getting a repaint and mods for custom Cobra SAM launcher.

This is a very nice set to have! aside from the scrap iron and the other dude, the missile set is very impressive. I bet diorama builders would have multiples of these sets!
