Image of Pursuit of Cobra Bravo Class Wave 1 Cobra Fury

ToyNewsi.com has posted an image of one of the forthcoming Wave 1 Bravo Class vehicles from the Pursuit of Cobra line-up. Slated for a January release is the Cobra Fury (aka Cobra Rage) with Alley Viper. Also in this wave is the G.I. Joe Wolf Hound (Snow Cat re-release) and Cobra Ice Cutter.

The Fury is a cool vehicle that hasn't been released in over 10 years and the Alley Viper is a great figure with an even better paint scheme that the Cobra island one. My only knock on this is that I wish he came with the same accessories as the Cobra island one.

This will be a great piece to add to any collectors set! The color scheme also looks very nice, though I would still like the classic Alley Viper just for the 80s sake. I really like this, now he does look like an Alley Viper and not the New York Knicks Alley Viper. Hope they would sell this at a reasonable price.

The first version was pretty ugly in beige and red, but i bought the TRU 15th anni version and Ive loved that toy since forever! Cant wait for this one!

Anyone think we will see a price increase on this stuff in 2010? Im willing to bet these go up to $30 and the Alphas go up to $20.

Whoo boy! That looks awesome! Never owned the original and I like its look. Jungle Alley Viper looks sweet too! This wave of Bravo vehicles is going to rock! Can't wait to finally own a Snow Cat. I hope preview pics of that show up soon too.

Looks like the Alley Viper doesn't come with any accessories though. Boo!

It looks like they improved the wheels. The smooth wheels on the old versions bothered me.
Oh I hope they give the Alley Viper at least his knives for his holsters.

Gah. I really hope it's not that purple when it comes out. I love the Rage/Fury, and I'm dying to own it again, but this... It looks like The Joker threw up on it.

I like the Night-Viper homage Alley, but would it kill them to just make a Night-Viper? Between this and the POC Jungle-Viper, I'm seeing a lot of half-measures.

I wonder though... is this thing really going to fit in a Bravo box? I remember it being much too wide for that. Maybe that's the "childhood proportions" thing talking though...

Th more I look at this the more I love it. I really love the color scheme. It looks like a cobra urban team could easily hide the whole thing in a dark alley on the bad side of town.

Allow me to draw you a mental picture . . . .

The fury lies silent in a dark damp ally, buried below some hundreds of pounds of garbage, rubbish, and scurrying rats. The only sound, the light hum of the sensors a it scans it's surroundings. The main cannon stands motionless, aimed at the ready out towards the street. The loyal cobra crew waits patiently carefully watching the glowing screens, the screens reflected on their cold unwavering faceless masks. They wait, they wait, they wait patiently for the governor's convoy to pass.
