September 25th and we decided to have a contest to celebrate it and give away a few things. Here's what we will be giving away...

how do you get those prizes?
Well, you see...
Cobra Commander is sensing that morale is a little low lately for his troops. With the Joes defeating them yet again and foiling his plans,
Cobra Commander needs a new plan. While watching one of his favorite TV shows, "How I Met Your Mother", the other night;
Cobra Commander looked to the one and only Barney Stinson for some inspiration. He noticed, that he has all those "
motivational posters" on the wall in his office. So the
Commander thought, why not put some up around
The Terror Drome to inspire his troops?
So the objective here is to come up with a "motivational poster" to "inspire" the troops. It can be funny, it can be serious, but it must be GI Joe themed! You can also do "work safety" as long as it's inspirational. (Also keep it PG-13. So NO swearing or pornography.)
RULES:1. Create a "motivational poster" and
post it in THIS contest thread in the forum by
11:59 PM EST September 24th, 2009.
2. Can use photos of figures, art from comics or cartoon. Still images from the RoC movie. Long as it's GI Joe themed.
3. Must be a member in good standing.
NO warnings or bans issued in the last 90 days.
4. Must have a
MINIMUM OF 10 POSTS. And they can't be just "cool" or "thanks". They need to be posts of worthwhile content. And game posts do NOT count either.
5. Your account must be actively participating in the forums within the last 45 days of the contest deadline. This is to ensure those that do participate, are contributing members.
6. STAFF members CAN participate too, but will
not be eligible for the
main prizes. One staff member will be chosen (of those that enter) for a
separate prize.
This will run until
11:59 PM EST, September 24th, 2009. Winners will be announced on our Anniversary date,
September 25th.
