What GI JOE line is the best?

Hello dromers,I have been collecting a lot more ROC and 25th joes than i originally planned on.Why u ask? The figures are really growing on me.From the detail of the figures to the box art i have really fallen in love with the ROC line and also i have had renewed interest in collecting loose 25th figures for display.So my question is how do they stack up against the vintage line?Which is your # 1 favorite line and why?

I grew up with the ARAH line but I really enjoyed the 25th line as it brought more detail and better articulation of a line I loved. Overall RoC was too bland for me and did not garner much interest (or money) from me. I am looking forward to the PoC line, however I will wait till I have some in hand before I can totally judge which line is the best (at least in my own humble opinion).

I prefer the 25th to ROC just a bit due its likeness to the ARAH line (which is my overall favorite line) and the extra detils they put into the 25th figs. The ROC line is pretty cool but I prefer the vintage look.

I liked 25th when they first hit but the chest hump wore on me pretty fast. It was less than a year before I was thinking that I was treding old ground and went and dug out my old ARAH's and realized how much I really liked them. Much more so than the 25ths. I ended up selling/trading most of my 25th's off (Kept some army builders, some special figs I liked like Firefly and Beachead) and didn't worry about it after that. I bought a few ROC, bought more for my diostory about fandom going overboard, and sold off the ones I didn't need afterwards). Pretty much I am an ARAH guy, I really love some of the TRU exclusives brought out between 2002-2005 as well as the comic packs (not all but many) and pretty much only bought the new stuff sparingly.

POC has some good points but mostly I feel its treding old ground, just my opinion.

ARAH will forever be my favorite of course, nothing is as cool as it is when you are a kid. But, POC is really making me I'm pretty excited for it.

25th rekindled much of the awesomeness that ARAH made me feel as a kid. Since all of the ARAH figures I had as a kid are long gone, it was really great to feel that same excitement after so many years. RoC/PoC has impressed me too, but only as to continue to feed the beast. Trying as hard as I could to hate the RoC line, there were enough figures that were great enough for me to actually want. So, I now look forward to PoC hopefully taking it up another notch.

ARAH was the original ultimate joe line!! But allmost 30 years later i ask myself this....Am i tired of dealing with replacing broken rubberbands,crotches,dealing with loose joints,and broken thumbs from trying to jam a gun in bazooka's hand that i dont think hasbro ever intended to really fit in the 1st place? My answer? A little.So i think the 25th is the definitive line,however its also worth noting that ROC line (super large there for no reason rocket launchers aside)... pretty cool too.

the vintage line is great and I like alot of the figs, but I really do prefer the 25th line

I like ROC the best, followed by 25th. They have their flaws, but we got updated figures and completely new stuff as well.

Marks against Vintage/ARAH:
1. The vintage line just doesn't provide a good likeness of the figures the way I invasion them, as a fan of Sunbow.
2. I don't like the scale. They look like overgrown ewoks at times.
3. I don't like the price point. I felt like I was wasting my money trying to track down this or that figure.

Marks against the Neo-Mold Era:
1. Horrible designs.
2. Horrible proportions.
3. Horrible concepts, such as Spy Troops and Animal Troops.
4. Crappy looking vehicles. Seriously, this stuff looked off brand and embarrassing.

The only good thing that came out of neo-mold were some decent characters (Bombsrike, Blackout, Scalpel, etc)
