Marauder "Gun-Runners" is one of those companies you read about from time to time when
discussing 1/18th scale military stuff. They offer a wide variety of real-world based weapons and some fantasy. There is also some non-weapon items such as tables, laptops, figure stands and more. I was really unsure of the quality when I first browsed their site, so I placed a small order...and I was hooked. I've placed quite a few more orders since then and have been extremely happy with everything I have purchased to date. I figured I would share my thoughts on my latest acquistion from them.
IDS Action Figure Stands (Clear):The latest offering from
Marauder "Gun-Runners" in their
IDS (Interlocking Display System) action figure stands. The IDS stands were released back in August and are a great new addition to their store.
Originally in black, this unique figure stand system gave you many possibilities to display your product. Now they are
available in a clear plastic. Which takes the possibilities farther. It also is great for those that make dios since it is easier to hide these clear stands versus the black ones. These stands work with both vintage ARAH style figures and modern "
25th" and
The Rise of Cobra type figures. They are available in both the black and clear in
quantities of 1, 10, 20, 50 and a 100.
Justin of
GenerasJoes did a
great review of these (the black ones) back in September. I think that
Marauder has a great product on their hands here that is quite versitile for your displaying needs.

New/Latest Marauder "Gun-Runners" Weapons:One thing that Marauder is known for, is their great selection of 1/18th scale weapons. I have purchased many of their weapons for either replacing or adding to my Joes and Cobras. One of their popular weapons is the
AK-47/74 rifles. The
"wooden stock" one in particular. The rescent addition to their line-up is the
AK-47 "with banana clip" which is a nice substitute to the "wooden stock" variation.

A couple of new additions to the
Marauder M-4 line-up is the
"Bravo Squad" and
"Urban" variants. Both make for great replacements for the Joes to give them a more realistic look. Also a replacement for those that are not fans of the FN F2000 gun a lot of the Joes seem to come with.

Lastly, another great assault rifle to offer up to your Cobra Army is the
AK-47 w/Silencer and Ammo Drum. This is a slick gun and nicely detailed.

NOTE: Neither I am, or The Terror Drome, is affiliated with Marauder "Gun-Runners" and I'm only sharing my opinion of their product. These items were not given to me for reviewing purposes, they were purchased on my own accord.
