Help w/ North African Destro

I got in in my head to make a North African Destro.

This would be how he dresses when he is stirring up trouble and selling arms in Africa. He would go in and juice-up local tribal thugs and strong men and encourage them to make Idi Amin moves.

Something that shows him as a European outsider, but something that also shows him as a man worthy of respect and regard.

Part "great white hunter" and part hi-tech arms dealer.

Right now I am thinking of a light, open, shirt....those poofy riding pants like a german tank commander, tall black boots, and maybe a beret on top of his mask....maybe one of those hats that African kings wear that is pointed in front and back....

With a big lion or leopard sash.

Can you picture it?

Good idea.....but I only work 25th style.

What I do have, however, is ROC Destro's legs. And they are PERFECT.

With some tooling, maybe Quick Kick could provide you with the sash. I'm working on making some berets. might take a couple of weeks.

Dunno on the rest, I'll be thinking on it some.

I guess you can use the Recondo hat(just an alternate) and Torso, bigger forearms with gloves of Zartan(Cobra 5-pack). ROC Destro legs. The sash, I guess you could sculpt or mold. the the sash and strip on the hunter hat would look cool with matching cheetah fur or tiger stripes design. He should also have some kind of medallion....just recalling the Eddie Murphy movie, Coming to America....or something like that. Hope this helps, Josh.

Recondo hat is a good idea.

Recondo's shirt is too buttoned up for Destro (he likes to keep it smooth and breezy), but the Chuckles/Mainframe torso is a bit open...I believe. I might have to look into that.

I can picture this & I like the idea! Here's a few more suggestions;

-At a place here that trades & sells old toys I found a bin FULL off Star Wars figs, lots of them have cool parts, esp robes. I'm thinkin someone as rich and powerfull as Destro would be more concerned with bein shielded from the heat then bein formal. So, as for your idea I'm thinkin go with the legs you mentioned, put them on Pit Commando's torso, paint that part a very light tan. Then find a used Anican Skywalker, use his robe with some Wild Bill arms painted to match (darker tan). Sorry I don't have a pic of the Anican fig, if you want to know which one I mean I can email a pic of him to ya.

-as for covering his head, the Recondo hat sounds great. If you want him to look more menacing maybe put Zartan's hood on him. Or if ya want him to look like the head of a big company tryin to look casual, paint Shockblast's ball cap white with MARS printed on the front.

Now mater how it turns out I wanna see pics, I think it's a cool concept, esp when you consider how much other desert stuff is available for him to fit into
