I can see Destro (and/or Cobra Commander) lining the hallways of his castle with these things, running in standby, until a Joe raiding party busts in, and then like a horror movie come true, they chop down the invaders one by one...

Destro's army has nearly a dozen different troop types, and the fiction is full of examples of his outlandish "home security" devices. The guy has a transforming castle... I really don't think a few BATs posing as empty suits of armor is out of place at all.

And low on steam? How do you figure? This is MUCH better than Montezuma's Skeleton; it's a prop AND a functional character.

Ah... I getcha. I don't really see it, as to be honest the majority of Jin's customs (Joe and otherwise) have seemed kind of random to me, but I get what you're saying.

And honestly, while I can't recall Destro using BATs, him NOT doing so seems a bit out of place to me. You'd think the arms dealer would see a fortune in selling "expendable infantry", not to mention that this "home security" angle seems right up his alley.

Then again, if Cobra took robotics capability like that and formed a legit company to sell them for manual labor, they'd make billions overnight, and their idea of home security is a guy with trained crocodiles, so there's something screwy going on here anyway.

Sorry Sparks. Im just not automatically wowed by a Jin Custom. Sometimes he does amazing work truly worthy of the prices his pieces can command. And sometimes, its just crap (in Concept, rarely in execution) Im suprised at the "omg you said that!" reaction some people have. Im being honest and its only my opinion, which everyone is free to share or disagree with. And when your this good or a "celebrity" so to speak, your going to get judged harder than others.

And as for the Indiana Jones figure your refering to, I think it looks cool partially because I HAVENT seen it done before. Its nice to see something new.
