The latest issue of Toy Fare, issue #152, has some information on the 2010 Pursuit of Cobra Mail-Away Cobra Commander figure. According to ToyFare magazine, the figure will be first available in a limited run at retail — available in the unique Cobra-themed packaging we saw at Joe Con last year. It is also mentioned that we will see a single carded Dusty and Alley-Viper; which was also mentioned in previous Hasbro Q&A’s. This issue is available now at comic stores and on news stands. There are two covers available, a Transformers RoTF Starscream cover, and a DCUC cover.
This Cobra Commander will be available as a mail-in figure, but he’ll also get a limited run at retailers in August on a special card. “We think the fans will be pleased with the first-ever Cobra-themed single card design,” Labovitz says.
Thanks to eBay seller toyssir8982009, we get another look at the forthcoming bravo class vehicles; the 2010 G.I. Joe “VAMP” (still no official word that this is what it is being called, but we’ll go with it for now) with unknown driver and the 2010 Cobra HISS Tank with what looks like an updated HISS driver. Look for these vehicles to arrive later this year under the 2010 G.I. Joe line-up.
Thanks to Gyre-Viper of HissTank we are getting another look at the upcoming Pursuit of Cobra2010 HISS Tank and another nice little surprise, what appears to be an updated VAMP! Though no official word has been said, this vehicle, the “VAMP” esque vehicle, looks to be an amalgam of a HUMVEE and an ARAH VAMP. There are many other pictures to see, but I’ve mirrored some here in the forums. So check them out and then head here to see a ton more. Thanks again to Gyre-Viper for sharing with all of us.
