Recently Terror Drome staff member joshdahl had a chance to interview IDW’s G.I. Joe: COBRA II writing team of Mike Costa and Christos Gage. Following up last year’s hit mini-series, Costa and Gage return with an all new COBRA series and Josh sits down to talk with them about their plans and thoughts behind the creative process of this popular G.I. Joe title. So head on over to the forums and read the interview.
“…I always used to imagine all the terrifying things COBRA must be doing off-screen to make them, you know, evil. Because the truth is that you never really saw them do anything except try to maybe steal some goofy piece of military equipment…”

Thanks to staff writer joshdahl, we have an advance review of IDW’s G.I. Joe #15 which is on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, March 3rd. I think one thing that fans can appreciate of Josh’s reviews is his honesty, he’s not going to “sugar coat” it. So what does Josh think of this latest issue on IDW Publishing’s main G.I. Joe title?
“Once again, the Joes don’t really do much of anything. Scarlett goes all “Trinity” on some campus cops, and Duke questions a suspect. Flint breaks a door, and Stalker remembers a comrade. That’s about it.”
Read the rest of Josh’s review of this issue and find out what else he has to say. Is this book worth your hard-earned money?

We posted a preview already, but we were so excited about this week’s G.I. Joe: Origins #12, we couldn’t wait to get you a review of it. So staff member joshdahl jumped right on it. He has written a very in-depth review of the issue. Origins #12 is written by Marc Andreyko with artwork by Ben Templesmith and will be available tomorrow, February 3rd.
“You wanted the ice-cold, thigh-high, stiletto-strutting, pistol-packing, armor-plated banshee, right? Of course you did. How could you not. Yes, there are flashes of that version of the character in here (notably on Tom Feister’s beautiful cover), but that is not who this book is about.”
