Gyre-Viper of HissTank appears to have taken eBay seller handytoy up on his offer and purchased the Mail-Away Pursuit of Cobra Cobra Commander figure, and has posted quite a few images of the figure as well. The exact details of this figure have not been released as of yet, but we do know it will be available through a mail in offer comparable to the “Search for DOC” offer we had in the 25th line. In addition to the figure, a Hiss Scout is also included in the package, and will attach to the new Hiss Tank that was revealed to us at the 2009 JoeCon.

LegendaryeBay seller ws_toys has posted an auction featuring the upcoming“white lab coat”variant of the Rex “The Doctor” Lewis figure. This is a planned variant that was recently revealed at the 2009 SDCC. Though the normal figure can be found in the Collection 1 Wave 3 assortment, it is still unknown if this figure will be shipped in that wave, or in a later revision. So, for all you variant hunters out there, for $29.99 you can get your hands on this bad boy a little early.

The figure is part of the Collection 1: Wave 3 assortment, which has reportedly been spotted in retail as of July 4th. Entertainment Earth has listed an entire slew of Rise of Cobra pre-orders as of lately, but one certainly catches the eye more than the rest. The new 12″ Cobra Commander (aka Doctor Rex) figure is revealed with the pre-order for the new Rise of Cobra 12-Inch Action Figures Wave 1. Pre-Orders are open right now for the figures, and they should be shipping within this month.
Ebay seller ws_toys / Black Sheep Toy Store has posted a few new auctions today. Two of those auctions show updated (complete?) version of The Doctor and “Arctic Assault” Storm Shadow figures from the forthcoming Rise of Cobra toy line. Previously seen version(s) of The Doctor showed him with a bald head, this new images show him looking more like he has in recent promo images. As for the “Arctic Assault” Storm Shadow, we now get to see what looks like a complete set of accesories now and what exactly the gauntlet on his left arm is supposed to hold.
