This wave of Classic “25th” vehicles consists of the Stinger Jeep w/ Stinger Driver, FLAK Cannon w/ Outback & (Crimson) COBRA CLAW w/ Air-Viper Commando (aka Strato-Viper) and finally the Arctic HISS w/ Arctic HISS Driver. More upcoming Rise of Cobra repaints have surfaced. Thanks to ws_toys of Black Sheep Toy Store, we now have some new images of a Cobra Eel, Grand Slam, A.V.A.C. and Strato-Viper (or aka Air-Viper) repaint. Like always, nothing is really know about these figures, especially if and when we will see them. These are some nice looking repaints none-the-less. Here are some pics.

Ebay seller jps_trading_ltd has listed a new auction featuring the new G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra jet, the Night Raven, or oddly enough the “Nightbird” as it is shown on the box. Other than giving us the opportunity to get this vehicle a few months early, and giving us a mysterious new name — this auction also gives us some great new images of the vehicle and its package contents.

UPDATE 5/18: It has since been discovered that Nightbird is the NON-U.S. release name for this vehicle. Hasbro was not able to secure the naming rights outside of the U.S.

Thanks to 堕落了 and 冬日神语 of ACToys we now have some great “In Hand” images of both Cobra Island 7-packs, as well as some great individual images of the included figures. The anticipation is certainly building for the great sets with every new image that appears. Though we have no “official” dates of release for these, it’s a good possibility we may see some pre-orders for these pretty soon with them turning up overseas now.
